How Sempre Therm External Insulation System is installed?
Sempre Therm involves fixing platinum (grey enhanced or graphite) insulation boards to the outer surface of the wall with adhesive and mushroom fixings. The insulation is then covered with a special basecoat to provide weather resistance. Fibreglass mesh is embedded into this basecoat to provide strength and impact resistance completed with primer and a pre-coloured decorative acrylic, polysilicate or special brick-slip effect render. Sempre Therm External Insulation System is not an expensive solution and additional problems (other than poor levels of insulation) suffered by some homes such as driving rain penetration, moisture, mildew, poor air tightness or frost damage can be solved by Sempre Therm systems.
